Job Description
Position: Experienced Warehouse Operative
Location: Inverness.
Salary:12.40 per hour rising to 12.90 after successful probation.
Hours: 39 hours per week. 8am to 5pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8am to 4pm (Friday).
Were excited to welcome new individuals to our warehouse team in Inverness. The ideal candidate will enjoy a varied role covering all aspects of distribution centre and warehouse operations. If you have a passion for teamwork this could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities include:
Goods In:
- Unloading and delivery checking.
- Booking in orders.
- Stock put away.
- Handling returns.
Picking Orders:
- Inside and outside yard picking.
Despatch:
- Checking picked orders.
- Preparing orders for despatch from packages to pallets.
- Using manual and integrated despatch systems.
- Loading delivery and customer vehicles.
Other Responsibilities:
- Operating Telehandler counterbalance and narrow aisle forklifts (training will be provided).
Desirables:
- Counterbalance forklift certificate.
- Narrow aisle forklift certificate.
- Telehandler certificate.
- Abrasive wheels certification.
- Gas cutting experience.
