Job Title: Commercial Insurance Producer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer with a strong sales orientation and a deep understanding of insurance products and markets. This role is responsible for developing new business retaining existing accounts and cultivating longterm client relationships. Success in this position requires strategic networking technical insurance knowledge and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic clientfocused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and key decisionmakers.
  • Provide qualified leads to internal teams and support crossselling efforts across departments.
  • Retain and manage an assigned book of business in alignment with company retention goals.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations and communications to prospective and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance coverages industry trends compliance standards and carrier/vendor practices.
  • Attend client meetings networking events and industry conferences as needed.
  • Travel locally and occasionally out of state for business development and training purposes.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior sales experience; insurance industry sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a hybrid work schedule.
  • Strong decisionmaking skills particularly when navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using technology platforms related to CRM presentations and client management.
  • Professional insurance designations such as CIC CPCU CRM or ARM (preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings networking and professional development.
