As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the COMMERCIAL & INVESTMENT BANK PAYMENTS TECHNOLOGY you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problemsolving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams contractors and vendors
- Develops secure and highquality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design application functionality and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a functionwide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks tools and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decisionmakers to consider the use and application of leadingedge technologies
- Adds to the team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
- Designs develops and maintains secure and scalable applications and infrastructure with a focus on IAM solutions.
- Leads the application onboarding process ensuring seamless integration and deployment of new applications.
- Implements and manages cloudbased solutions to enhance scalability and performance.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineeringconcepts and 5 years applied experience
- Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on IAM solutions.
- Proven experience in application onboarding and integration.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in one or more generalpurpose programming languages Java Full stack.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like Angular or React.
- Strong understanding of database technologies such as SQL NoSQL and ORM frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with version control systems Git.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Docker Jenkins Kubernetes).
- Certification in IAM or related security fields.
- Experience in agile development methodologies
