About the Role
Targeted Family Help Melton and Harborough is a service that offers timely support to families in the community and with the home offering practical help building on strengths and local community support to improve daily life positively impacting upon outcomes for children and young people. The team work out of our Family Hubs linking closely with the partners that use them providing a link between them and the families within our community.
We are looking for passionate creative empathetic people to be part of this team. To provide a service that allows for early identification of and intervention for emerging worries including but not limited to supporting parents in the home with challenging behaviours work with young people and their families struggling with emotional wellbeing and/or at risk of exclusions supporting families with SEND needs child development concerns and issues with home and money. Working with the children young people and families to support offering advice and strategies that prevents escalation and allowing development of new skills and independence from services.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
