Job Description
Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a services firm in the Loop in Chicago IL searching for a Sr. Accountant to help with catch up/clean up work.
The role will be required to be on site 5 days per week in Chicago near the Willis Tower.
Candidate will be responsible for:
- General Ledger activities
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Catch up / clean up to support closing out 2024 financials
- Trial balances
- Other GL activities as required
Candidate should have the following background:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or similar role
- 7 years of general ledger experience ideally with a smallmidsized company (under $100 million in revenue)
- Strong ERP experience in NetSuite Intacct or similarly sized software package
- Excel experience especially with pivottables
- Ability to get into Chicago to work on a daily basis
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work closely with CFO to get work done effectively
