Job Description

Salary: 24000 per annum (FullTime Equivalent 40000 per annum)

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract / Parttime (21 hours)

Were seeking an experienced Senior Events Manager on a parttime basis to join our dynamic Events Team and help us put pharmacy at the forefront of patient care!

As a Senior Events Manager you will have exceptional attention to detail and ability to hit the ground running playing a vital role in the successful planning and delivery of a dynamic events portfolio. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fastpaced environment can juggle multiple deadlines simultaneously maintaining exceptional attention to detail and has experience in linemanagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in event management roles (ideally 5 years) specifically dealing with high volume of events (essential).
  • Previous experience in line management (essential).
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously (essential).
  • Experience using event management software (essential).
  • Strong budget management and negotiation skills (essential).
  • Exceptional attention to detail (essential).
  • Ability to remain calm and perform well under pressure (essential).
  • Excellent organisational time management and problem solving skills (essential).
  • Excellent communicator and able to liaise confidently with members and colleagues at all levels in both verbal and written communication (essential).
  • Ability to manage workload identifying priorities and time management concerns (essential).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook) (essential).

How we are currently working

RPS supports and works in a hybrid way which means you will be able to work from home however there will be an expectation for collaborative facetoface working on average and typically this may be something between 48 working days per month at our London Office. For this role we expect a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
