Job Description

Job Title: Paralegal Commercial Lending
Location: Vancouver BC
Job Type: FullTime

About the Opportunity:

Our client is a wellestablished law firm offering a full range of business litigation and dispute resolution services across Canada and internationally.

They are currently seeking a skilled and detailoriented Intermediate Commercial Lending Paralegal to join their team in Vancouver. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a collaborative and fastpaced legal environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and interpret instructions from lenders
  • Liaise with borrowers and lenders to obtain required authorizations and information
  • Conduct and review due diligence searches including PPR and corporate records
  • Draft revise and review standard and nonstandard security documentation
  • Coordinate of documents and ensure proper witnessing and completion
  • Communicate with borrower s solicitor and forward necessary documentation
  • Review executed documents for compliance and completeness
  • Coordinate fund disbursement with lenders and accounting team
  • File security documents at appropriate registries
  • Prepare final reporting letters and closing binders
  • Perform postregistration searches
  • Maintain accurate file management and document control
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Graduate of an accredited Paralegal program
  • Minimum of 8 years experience as a Commercial Lending Paralegal
  • Strong understanding of the Personal Property Security Act and PPR filings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary range: $80000 $100000
