Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department for a 13week travel/contract position in Newburyport MA 01950.
Job Highlights:
- Shift: 12hr Nights (7p7a)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay: $2340 $2520
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Triage patients quickly and accurately according to established protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patients vital signs and clinical progress.
- Respond to emergencies and perform lifesaving measures such as CPR.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting in compliance with hospital standards.
- Float between Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals as needed.
- Complete tele test on Day 1; passing required to continue the assignment.
Experience & Requirements:
Experience:
- 2 years of Telemetry experience (required)
- Active Massachusetts RN License (required)
Certifications Required (AHA only):
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
