Job Description
Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: Labor and Delivery
Schedule: 3 Days/Week 12-Hour Shifts Monday to Friday 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Hours Per Week: 36 Hours
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in Labor & Delivery
Athena Medtech is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team. This role plays a vital part in providing compassionate evidence-based care to patients during one of the most critical times of their lives-childbirth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.

Observe document and communicate patient conditions to relevant care teams.

Serve as a primary coordinator ensuring seamless communication across all care disciplines.

Execute physician and nursing care orders promptly and accurately.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and support discharge processes.

Valid and unrestricted RN license

Minimum 5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery

Strong knowledge of obstetric procedures and maternal-fetal care

Proven ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments

Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills
