Job Description

Candidates holding a masters degree exclusively in Social Work are eligible to apply for this position.

Role Requirements

The School Based Therapist is responsible for providing services related to the delivery of mental health care to assigned consumers at the designated school location and will provide consultation services to the school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school.

Provides direct mental health services to include:

  • Provides direct mental health services to include intake assessment individual/family/group therapy and crisis intervention to assigned clients.
  • Collects information about consumers through interviews tests and evaluation of daytoday functioning within work family and other routines.
  • Identifying areas needing continued support resources and treatment in order to assist consumers.
  • Completes master treatment plans treatment plan updates managed care authorizations and all chart requirements.
  • Preparing and completing diagnostic and biopsychological assessments clinical notes referrals treatment plans of clients as appropriate.
  • Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings and clinical supervision.
  • Maintains confidentiality of records relating to consumers treatment.
  • Provides therapy; maintains assigned caseload.
  • Works with Clinical Managers and other multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans/assessment for clients.
  • Creates appropriate case management notes and input into systems as needed.
  • Provides complete and timely documentation to support services rendered.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

  1. Masters degree in social work
  2. Must possess a strong knowledge of common diagnoses and treatments for schoolaged children and possess the skills necessary to facilitate positive change in a school environment.
  3. LGSW/LGPC Required
  4. 13 years Mental Health experience.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  6. Excellent problemsolving skills
  7. Demonstrate exceptional time management organizational skills


Additional Information :

Fulltime (40 hours) (8 hours shift)

Salary: $65000.00 $70000.00 per year. The salary range differs based on the number of relevant work experience and educational level. In addition we offer the below Employment Benefits:
