The Senior Saudi National Stakeholder Manager with Civil and Infrastructure / and or Engineering Architecture experience in Riyadh plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders and government entities involved in civil engineering Urban projects /Parks and infrastructure projects. The position requires a deep understanding of the local context and the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Management Plan: Create and maintain a stakeholder plan and register.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to support business objectives.
Communication and Reporting: Prepare reports presentations and proposals to stakeholders and provide regular updates on business progress. Meetings management
Relationship Building: Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including clients and partners across multiple projects
Secure all approvals from the appropriate agencies and monitor compliance by the Consultants and Contractors with the requirements of any governmental approvals and regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy for civil engineering and infrastructure projects in Riyadh.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities local authorities community groups and other stakeholders.
Government Relations:
- Interface with relevant government bodies ensuring compliance with local regulations and obtaining necessary approvals for projects.
- Stay informed about changes in policies regulations and procedures that may impact civil and infrastructure projects in Riyadh.
Community Outreach:
- Engage with local communities affected by civil projects addressing concerns and facilitating transparent communication.
- Implement community engagement initiatives and gather feedback for project improvement.
Interface with KSA Municipalities and all KSA Authorities for Approvals:
- Collaborate with municipal authorities in Riyadh to coordinate project approvals permits and inspections. Advise on the KSA statutory approvals and notifications required throughout the execution of each Project
- Ensure alignment with city planning and development goals.
Project Advocacy:
- Advocate for civil and infrastructure projects by presenting their benefits to key stakeholders and addressing any potential objections.
- Facilitate public consultations and workshops to gather input and foster community support.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential stakeholderrelated risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Anticipate and address issues that may arise during project implementation ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers engineers planners and other teams to integrate stakeholder considerations into project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
Public Relations:
- Manage external communications related to civil and infrastructure projects representing the organization positively.
- Respond to media inquiries and coordinate press releases as needed.
Crisis Management:
- Mitigate reputational risks and maintain positive relations during challenging situations.
- Develop crisis management plans related to stakeholder concerns and execute them effectively when required.
Government Reporting:
- Prepare and submit required reports to government entities in Riyadh ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Keep detailed records of interactions with government officials and other stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Saudi National with a strong understanding of the local culture and business environment in Riyadh.
- Minimum 1012 years of experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Public Relations Business Administration Civil Engineering Architecture or a related field.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management for civil engineering and infrastructure projects in Riyadh.
- Excellent knowledge of local regulations permitting processes and government procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
- Proven track record in Stakeholder Management on multiple projects Design engineering construction
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
