- Develop and lead internal and external communications programs in India that is aligned with fiveyear plans regional strategy and key change programs.
- Design and develop thought leadership campaigns for members of the India Leadership Team.
- Bring together the elements outside of traditional CP including Syngenta Seeds SSPL SBPL and Seedcare to ensure opportunities and stories are maximized and leveraged across the India and region.
- Contribute to influence and build Syngenta culture and brand through communications and engagement programs.
- Guide and transfer knowledge to ensure communications alignment across India for internal and external activities ensuring editorial is leveraged and maximized across internal and external channels.
- Contribute to the development of the Communications function frameworks policies processes governance.
- Develop implement and measure communications to support implementation and understanding of India priorities and fiveyear plan including communicating progress and celebrating success

- Develop and implement internal and external communications/thought leadership program for India Leadership team and other senior leaders and coach leaders to communicate with impact and establish twoway dialogue with their teams
- Provide leadership advice and support on storytelling in business communications
- Guide and partner with HR to deliver communication and engagement plans that build a customercentric inclusive and highperformance culture
- Foster a culture of listening and dialogue between leaders and employees and address employee feedback working with leaders using digital platforms like Yammer town halls and other channels
- Work with global/regional Communications team as a part of India Sustainability and Corporate Affairs Team to ensure key initiatives projects issues and stories are effectively communicated internally and externally
- Implement global and India engagement programs e.g. International Womens Day Mental Health Month Pride World Environment Day among others.
- Responsible in ensuring close alignment on communications programs and priorities among Syngenta India entities and drive functional excellence and best practice aligned with corporate internal communication guidelines and priorities
- Implement digital communications approaches complementing traditional media and fully leveraging available channels develop compelling content and manage a content /
- editorial calendar
- Accountable to ensure effectiveness of communications programs content and channels through established metrics and use the data to drive improvements.
- Champion the corporate brand ensuring consistent implementation of corporate identity and culture in the function
- Critical member of the India Emergency Management Team supporting Head of Sustainability and Corporate Communications India and local teams on HSE communications and mental health and engagement activities focusing on safety and business continuity.
Qualifications :
Capabilities Knowledge and experience
- Lead develop and deliver on India Communications strategies; advising and coaching senior leaders; change communications to deliver business change internal and external editorial and thought leadership; creative campaign development and execution
- Proven track record in communications (15 years)
- Experience within a global matrixed organization
- Development of communication strategies to address complex business challenges
- Working in a changing business environment
Qualification
- Bachelors/ Masters degree in communications or related discipline
- Knowledge of communications best practice including change communications social media and external communications
- Agribusiness market experience (where possible) and business understanding
- Experience in varied content development for external channels including social media
- Stakeholder management
- Cultural awareness
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively across teams
- Proactive with a predisposition for action.
