You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailImagine a position where you ensure the optimal execution of offshore main component exchanges by being an Assistant Project Manager for Vattenfalls MCE department. We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager for Main Component Exchanges in our Business Area Wind part of the Vattenfall Organization.
You will collaborate with colleagues to create a competent and specialized team that handles main component exchanges for Vattenfalls offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will work closely with our MCE Project Managers Special Tooling team Travel Technicians and contractors. Your role will be crucial in coordinating and overseeing offshore work ensuring compliance safety and quality while also promoting flexibility and efficiency.

And you have a flexible attitude with regards to tasks work hours and travelling as this is a necessity for the position.
Working Conditions
Be ready to travel stay and work on sites offshore for up to 100 days per year.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has a technical education with relevant industry knowledge and a minimum of 10 years experience within the wind industry. Preferably you have experience and knowledge from installation maintenance and repair of gearboxes main bearings generators transformers and blades. Having worked as a lead technician with experience leading and educating other technicians and possessing knowledge and experience in fault finding and troubleshooting will be a plus.
You have a strong command of English both verbally and in writing. As a person you are structured independent and resultoriented. You have excellent interpersonal skills and are a natural leader. You are a team player who actively engages people by asking sharing helping or seeking help. You are also proactive transparent performance and resultoriented. Sound communication skills and the ability to travel are a must.
