About the role
We are seeking a driven and collaborative Business Development Manager to lead instore execution across a defined territory representing key client brands. Reporting to the National Field Manager this role is critical in delivering outcomes aligned with TCCDs OGSM strategy. Youll build trusted relationships with independent grocery retailers challenge conventional approaches and drive sales growth that benefits both our clients and their retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong transparent relationships with store owners and managers.
- Execute storelevel sales strategies that disrupt the status quo and deliver tangible results.
- Educate retailers using compelling category insights and product knowledge.
- Negotiate with influence to achieve volume and distribution targets within budget.
- Interpret and apply data to influence instore decisions and drive performance.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure seamless execution of MSO plans.
- Plan and manage your territory effectively to maximise efficiency and impact.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in FMCG sales and negotiation.
- Proven ability to build trustbased commercial relationships.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Confident in financial discussions and ROIbased selling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
- Comfortable working independently and on the move.
- Experience in using data and insights to inform sales strategy.
- Knowledge of categorybased and shopperled selling principles.
