Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Working in a cleanroom environment dispensing raw materials and performing inspection of containers
- Receiving handling and disposing of samples
- Calibrates or verifiesthe calibration of instruments/devices before use.
- Accurately records test results and reports any quality anomalies
- Maintains laboratory supplies and performs laboratory housekeeping as assigned
- Ensures excellent customer service to clients
- Participates in required training activities
- Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
- Potential crosstraining opportunity with sampling and testing of compressed gas systems and sampling and testing of compressed gas tankers
This position is an indoor labbased position working in biopharmaceutical manufacturing cleanrooms and lab spaces. Position requires significant time spent in ISO 8 cleanrooms with the following restrictions:
- No cosmetic products or applications (such as makeup false lashes spray tans etc) are permitted and must be removed before entry
- Nails must be kept short trimmed and unadorned (no nail polish rhinestones etc)
- No jewelry may be worn (exceptions are medical alertrelated and one smooth ring band that can be easily covered by a glove)
- Hair must be able to be neatly tied back and contained in a hairnet and all facial hair must be neatly trimmed and able to be secured in a beard cover.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in chemistry or other sciencerelated degree concentration orequivalent directly related experience
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Desire to work in a moderately physical role that requires standing much of the time
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Fosters a healthy trusting environment and champions transparency and communication
- GMP biopharmaceutical or other related industry experience
- Familiarity with LIMS

Additional Details:
The work schedule will be Monday through Friday 7 am3:30 pm or Monday through Friday 12:00 pm8:30 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer New York are encouraged to apply.
