In Data Acquisition Tribe we create solutions to collect sports data globally for more than 200 different sports across thousands of tournaments.

THE CHALLENGE:
As aSenior JAVA Developerin ourData Acquisitionteam we expect that you are passionate about your craft and already have a good understanding ofmodern development techniques. Additionally you valuesimplicitycleancode andclean architecture you practiceTDD(Test Driven Development)pair programmingand always welcome feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
Design develop test build and deploy new applications or enhancements to existing applications
Analyse and integrate sportsoriented data from a variety of complex sources
Work with other technical staff to understand problems develop specifications and resolve them.
Take part in the constant challenge to create a maintainable welldesigned architecture that is future proof.
Apply good practices throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements:
Extensive experience developing backend solutions inJava
Ability towrite a clean wellcrafted and tested code (XP TDD)
Experience withSpring Framework
Experience with event streaming(Kafka RabbitMQ ActiveMQ)
Strong experience inSQL especially MySQL but also NoSQL
Strong experience with cloudbased applications and microservices (AWS Kubernetes Gitlab CI)
Agile mindset(focus on delivering working software collaboration and improvement)
Fluent in English(written and spoken)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly selfmotivated and selfdriven
Flexible to adapt to changing priorities and able to work with tight deadlines
Committed to upholding the highest professional work standards and ethics

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
Initial Screening: A brief conversation with our Talent Acquisition Partner to review your background experience and expectations
Technical Task: A takehome coding assignment designed to reflect our daily work completed at your convenience
Technical Interview (90 minutes): An indepth discussion on your submitted coding task including a review of your thought process live coding exercises and a system design conceptual discussion
Cultural Fit Interview (60 minutes): A conversation with Senior Management to assess your ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate with stakeholders
We keep it simple and aim to wrap up the process within3 weeks.
