Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Technical Writer/Content Developer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for creating highquality technical documentation and content for our cuttingedge software products. You will work closely with development teams subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure accurate and userfriendly documentation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including user manuals online help systems and API documentation
- Collaborate with product managers developers and QA teams to gather and understand complex technical information
- Create clear concise and engaging content that meets the needs of both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and high quality
- Implement and maintain documentation standards and best practices
- Review and edit content created by other team members for accuracy consistency and clarity
- Participate in the continuous improvement of documentation processes and tools
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies in technical communication
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in English Technical Communication or a related field
- 5 years of experience in technical writing or content development preferably in the software or IT industry
- Advanced writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in technical documentation tools such as MadCap Flare or Adobe FrameMaker
- Experience with content management systems and version control
- Knowledge of markup languages (e.g. HTML XML) and API documentation
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to various audiences
- Experience in creating user manuals online help systems and API documentation
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Technical writing certifications (e.g. Certified Professional Technical Communicator) preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative fastpaced environment
