You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailYou will be part of the finance department working transversally with most of the divisions at Deezer along with an external tax advisor and reporting directly to the Groups Accounting Director.
What you will do:
Contribute to the definition and implement tax function strategy
Participate in the finance transformation project
Suggest and develop new policies and procedures for improving the collection of tax information from relevant departments in order to allow for transparency efficiency and scalability with a focus on controls
Liaise with internal and external auditors to manage various audit requirements
Ensure that corporate tax and other tax returns preparation meets all regulatory requirements
Overview foreign VAT / sales tax declaration processes
Review operations and procedures to ensure compliance with local statutes and regulations
Remaix up to date with changes in the tax code and accounting laws
Carefully monitor local rules applicable to electronically supplied services and implement adequate actions
Qualifications :
This role is excellent for a person with:
3 years experience in corporate tax (ideally a mix of advisory and compliance experience) with knowledge in international tax appetite for VAT matters and keen to broaden his / her experience
Interested in intellectual property and electronically supplied services tax specificities
Very proficient with Excel and the use of IT tools
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong communication / transversal skills including intellectual curiosity flexibility and strong team spirit
Sharp attention to details
