Job Description
Join the NVFS Family:We are looking to hire a Program Manager to join the NVFSChild Family Wellbeing Services team! As the Program Manager you will plan organize implement coordinate and evaluate the services of the programs. As the Program Manager you will manage the daily operations of the programs; identify and assess client and family needs; supervises trains and supports staff; ensure the effective monitoring and compliance of program policies and procedures; coordinates service delivery to ensure that client needs program goals and contract objectives are effectively met. As the Program Manager you will be expected to represent the Agency positively to the community interpreting Agency services to other agencies and public groups.

This position has a salary in the low 80s.
In this role you will:
Program and Resource Development:
- In coordination with the Service Area Director identify issues that may affect staff participants community partners and the fiscal integrity of the program and develop solutionfocused proposals to address identified issues.
- Collaborate with Service Area Director to create a comprehensive plan for child abuse prevention within identified communities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and researchinformed family engagement plan
- Oversee and participate in the evaluation of changes in demographic data political and economic conditions and trends to identify service gaps
- Participate in working groups to modify service delivery
- Oversee family engagement initiatives and programming.
- Create and execute annual Family Engagement Communications plan in collaboration with Service Area Director.
- Collaborate with community partners to facilitate resource coordination for families.
- Serve as subject matter expert regarding child abuse prevention through caregiver/family engagement.
- Partner with Service Area Director to ensure program is meeting terms of grant(s) awards and grant reporting is completed as assigned.
- Participate in contract renewals and funding applications within the scope of Agency goals and purposes as directed by Service Area Director; alert Service Area Director of funding opportunities and participate in the development of new programs.
- Participate in program grant writing and revenue solicitations.
Staff Supervision and Development:
- Identify and fulfill staffing needs; work collaboratively with each staff member on talent development process to set job and development goals; approve timesheets leave and reimbursement requests; provide or arrange for ongoing staff training as needed.
- Supervise program staff including in regular individual and group staff meetings and case consultation; provide appropriate assistance and professional development support to direct report(s).
- Assign and monitor the work of contractors.
Client Service Delivery:
- Oversee client flow from initial client calls through case assignment to termination to promote efficient and effective client services and administrative procedures including adequate client record keeping and statistical reports.
- Ensure adequate client record keeping statistical and performance outcome reporting.
- Ensure that service delivery is performed according to and within the NVFS mission policy and procedural directions case management model and contractual requirements.
Compliance and Reporting Requirements:
- Oversee quality assurance and program monitoring and evaluation.
- Oversee collection storage and evaluation of data.
- Participate in the development of performance measures and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Ensure that service delivery is performed according to and within the NVFS mission policy/statewide directive/procedural directions/case management model NVFS standards and contractual/licensing requirements.
- Enter data for record keeping and reporting to meet federal/state/program guidelines.
- Ensure achievement of goals and objectives of contract for programs including NVFS outcomes and reporting.
- Provide data and data analysis to Service Area Director for narrative and statistical reports to the Agency contract and grant monitors measuring program effectiveness; includes NVFS outcomes and reporting.
- Monitor evaluate and report on service delivery effectiveness through analysis and reporting on individual interventions as well as individual team members to demonstrate connections between interventions and outcomes.
Meeting and Community Outreach/Resource Participation:
- Build and maintain Agencys position as a child abuse prevention leader through community partnerships engagement and advocacy including but not limited to board membership community roundtables and committees developing relationships with community leaders and public officials and developing relationships with local familyserving groups institutions and organizations.
- Represent NVFS externally; participate in local/regional task forces and community partnership meetings as
- Act as liaison with community civic and business groups on behalf of program; participate in appropriate community task force committees; develop and monitor public relations within the scope of Agency mission and
Financial Oversight
- Assist Service Area Director in formulating the annual program budget and expend funds according to Agency and contract/state guidelines.
- Ensure that the program operates within budgetary parameters established.
Your Background: We understand that you may obtain skills through a variety of professional personal educational and volunteer experiences.
- Bachelors degree in Human Services Administration Social Work or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in program development and management
- Oral and written fluency in English required;Spanish language fluency required.Additional language skills always welcome.
- Expertise in child abuse prevention or adjacent field(s) with specific knowledge and experience in family centered approaches
- Commitment to traumainformed resiliencyfocused strengthsbased familyfocused strategies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including public speaking
- Strong training presentation and facilitation skills
- Competency in principles of adult learning
- Ability to identify conflicts and address them through positive resolution strategies
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in providing effective and supportive supervision
- Experience with data collection and reporting
- Proficiency in usage of basic technological tools including laptops/computers email phones and internet required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.

Additional requirements:
- Successful completion of background checks upon hire
- Must have reliable transportation to conduct client visits as needed and visit other designated community locations
- May be called upon to work beyond normal working hours
