Job Description
TheHilton Atlanta is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie for their Southern Elements restaurant! This individual will be responsible for supporting the fullservice lobby restaurant and bar with a fresh take on Southern food for breakfast lunch and dinner. The hotel is located in Downtown Atlanta near I75 and within six blocks of attractions including Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia Aquarium.
Ideal candidate will have strong culinary restaurant experience in a scratch kitchen. Seeking someone with strong communication skills and previous lead/supervisor experience. Hotel background preferred.
Shift Pattern:variable weekend/holiday availability required

What will I be doing
As Chef de Partie you would be responsible for preparing seasoning cooking and testing food items in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Prepare season cook and test food items for consumption in food and beverage outlets
- Perform supervisory duties to include but not limited to supervision of line cooks and acting in absence of lead chef
- Ensure compliance with federal state local and company health safety sanitation standards
- Train schedule and assign work and assist with evaluations of team members
