Job Description
Join our team! We are looking for experienced mold setter to work with our dynamic team in our tryout and low volume production area. We are a familyowned Tier 1 supplier to the plastics industry. We offer flexibility and growth opportunities.
Opportunities:
2nd shift 3 p.m. 11:00 p.m.
3rd shift 11:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.
Must be available for weekends when scheduled. We pay an 8% shift premium on top of base wage. Wage will be evaluated based on experience.
Requirements:
- Forklift experience moving molds
- Overhead crane experience moving molds
- Performing Mold changes on presses ranging from 500 to 3500 ton
- Understands set up and operation of mold functions including hydraulics hot runner setup knockout watering electrical etc..
- Follows mold change checklist and ensure all bolts clamps screws etc.. are properly tightened
- Physically capable of getting into presses on top of and climbing presses as required to perform mold change
- Physically capable of pulling pushing standing climbing squatting kneeling using wrenches and other tools required during mold change
- complete mold change safely and in timely manner
- clean and wipe down machines and other equipment remove oil and clean up any leaks maintain clean work area
- When not performing a mold change they will be required to run a press as an operator teamwork is vital as it is only a 4 person shift. Everyone does what needs to be done.
