Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse facilities including plumbing painting and structural components.
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment such as equipment loading docks and racking systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Repair and replace damaged doors flooring shelving and other warehouse structures.
- Assist in setting up and installing new equipment and workstations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request restocking as needed.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
- Proven experience as a handyman maintenance technician or similar role in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing painting and mechanical systems.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Experience with equipment repair and warehouse machinery maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects climb ladders and perform handson repairs.
- Valid drivers license (if applicable).
- Certification in a trade (e.g. electrical HVAC plumbing) is a plus.
- OSHA or safety training certification.
- Experience working in a fastpaced warehouse or distribution center environment.
