Software Dev QA (Cloud)

Fortinet is seeking experienced QA Engineers to join our FortiCASB team. As part of the Cloud Security QA team you will be responsible for ensuring the quality security and reliability of our SaaSbased cloud security platform. You will work closely with developers product managers and security teams to design and execute test plans automate testing processes and validate cloud security functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for the FortiCASB SaaS platform
• Perform functional regression integration and performance testing to ensure product quality
• Design and implement automated test frameworks and test scripts using Python
• Test cloud security features including cloud data protection compliance enforcement and threat detection
• Validate API functionalities microservices and cloudbased system integrations
• Identify document and track software defects working closely with development teams for resolution
• Conduct **scalability reliability and security testing** in a distributed cloud environment
• Participate in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) testing

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
• Three or more years of experience in QA engineering software testing or test automation
• Strong experience in test automation frameworks (Selenium PyTest JUnit TestNG or similar)
• Proficiency in Python for test automation development
• Familiarity with cloudbased security solutions preferably CASB DLP or SIEM products
• Experience testing SaaS platforms and cloudnative applications
• Understanding of REST APIs authentication protocols (OAuth SAML) and microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines Jenkins Git and containerized environments (Docker Kubernetes)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a commitment to software quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud security compliance frameworks such as SOC2 NIST and GDPR
• Handson experience with performance and security testing tools
• Familiarity with Terraform Ansible or InfrastructureasCode (IaC) testing
• Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch Kibana or Splunk

The Canada base salary range for this fulltime position is expected to be between $95000 $130000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.
