Salary Package: AU$180 200k Super
Role Highlights:
Careerdefining opportunity to join an entrepreneurial fastgrowing Insurance business ready to embark on their next stage of growth. Build lead and expand a new Pricing function with the full backing of the Executive Team and Board.
Role Overview
You will be tasked with the development and execution of a new function for the business supporting underwriting activity and product diversification through sophisticated pricing methodologies and technique.
In the shortterm you will review existing models develop new processes build internal relationships and lay the foundations for new model development as the business launches further products and geographies in future.
Responsibilities
- Review and recalibrate existing Pricing Models to ensure fit for purpose
- Develop new Pricing Models upon the launch of new products and locations in the organisation
- Conduct annual pricing and large loss reviews across all products
- Support and review Catastrophe Modelling processes
- Develop and improve pricing processes with a learning loop and continuous improvement lens
Candidate Profile
- Commercial Pricing background with an Australianbased Insurer or Reinsurer
- ShortTail product exposure is essential and LongTail exposure desirable
- Experience managing rate adequacy processes
- Accomplished with pricing models and processes
- Demonstrated background working closely with Senior Underwriters
- Either qualified Actuary or Data Scientist
