About the Community: The Element is a 395unit building located in Tampa FL. At the Element residents get to enjoy various top amenities including a luxury resortstyle pool on an elevated sundeck with spa outdoor bars and cabanas a poolside clubroom with plasma TVs a healthclub quality fitness center a theater room and an elevated backyard park with outdoor grills.
About the Role: Northland is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to complete maintenance service requests and work orders including but not limited to HVAC electrical pool maintenance plumbing carpentry painting and housekeeping items. This role will also complete apartments turnovers for scheduled moveins in a timely manner while working safely and efficiently.
Northlands maintenance team always maintains the highest level of professionalism and customer service when working with our residents vendors and guests. As part of our promise to deliver a toptier experience to our residents maintenance team members are required to handle afterhours emergency calls and be oncall as needed including nights and weekends.
Qualifications and Requirements: The individual must possess the following knowledge skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Previous experience in general maintenance plumbing carpentry electrical HVAC and painting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff residents and vendors.
- Must be able to work nights and weekend shift as part of the oncall responsibility.
