Assistant Store Manager in Raleigh NC (Westinghouse Blvd Lincoln Park Central) Store
Full Time Benefits and Weekly Pay!
Starting Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
This position is for Full Time scheduled within store hours:
- Monday Friday: 7:00am 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am 12:00pm (noon)
- Sunday: Closed
*This position requires heavy lifting a valid drivers license and interacting with customers.
Pittsburgh Paints Company is immediately hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Full Time. In this role you will lead the store in the absence of the manager. This is a progressive career path opportunity with potential to grow into a store leadership role. Our retail store locations are the first point of contact for our customers. Reporting to the Store Manager your role will include inventory management daily cash deposits and managing store operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Open and close the retail branch.
- Advise and serve customers including assessing their needs proposing solutions tinting mixing and matching paint products.
- Work in a retail environment ensuring the store is clean and wellstocked.
- Lift move and store products according to safety guidelines.
- Lead employees in the managers absence.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma. A college diploma is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or lead position in a retail / commercial trade environment.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a customer service role in a retail / commercial trade environment.
- Ability to lift 5080lbs regularly throughout the day.
- Fluency in English written and verbal a must.
- 40 hours per week availability weekday including early mornings and weekend availability.
- A high energy positive attitude with a customerfirst mindset.
- The confidence to assess the customers needs and advise solutions and work well with a team.
