Job Description
COMPENSATION:
Compensation for roles at THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location role skill set and level of experience. As required by local law THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.
Role Location: CALIFORNIA
Calculated Hourly Range for role EMT
State California: $23.00 $25.09 per hour plus $3.00 overnight differential

AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS
This is a Full Time day position days to be determined and are overtime eligible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE EMT:
Accurately obtain and document vital signs including temperature pulse respirations and blood pressure.
Use emergency skills and knowledge to assess a patients cardiac and respiratory status or manage and respond to emergencies.
Assist with the completion of patient biopsychosocial assessment including assisting with admission and discharge of patients.
Monitor physical and emotional wellbeing of patients and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff.
Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.
Give medications following instructions from physicians other prescribing medical professionals or where approved by state law or regulations for EMTs.
Collaborate with other staff in working with the population of the facility to treat rehabilitate and return patients to the community.
Comply with organizational policies procedures performance improvement initiatives and maintain organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.
Demonstrate a positive empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALLING REQUIREMENTS:
- Education High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Experience Knowledge or experience working with clients who are chemically dependent preferred
- RADTi or EMT certification preferred
- Licenses Current Drivers License
- Special Requirements Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery
