Senior Business Systems Analyst, Yardi

Role impact:

The Senior Business System Analyst Yardi will play a pivotal role to plan design develop and launch efficient business financial and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases proposed projects and systems requirements. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication analytical and problemsolving skills to help maximize the benefit of technology projects.

What you will deliver:

• Applies business analysis methodology to elicit analyze specify and validate the business needs from key stakeholdersand recommending appropriate solutions as per addendum
• Performs business analysis planning to outline the tasks and deliverables needed for the project and estimate the time required including the time of the business stakeholders involved. Considers:
  • Critical project characteristics such as the size of the project the business risks involved the number of interfaces the project will include
  • The processes that need to be adhered to for the project
  • The project methodology being used for the project project roles and responsibilities and what deliverables are required
• Meet with decision makers systems owners and end users to define business financial and operations requirements and systems goals and identify and resolve systems issuesas per addendum
• Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes operations and information process flow
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems based on the standards and policies from the Architecture Review Board
• Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measuretaking actions
• Collaborate in the planning design development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
• Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts

What you need to succeed:

• College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration computer science accounting or management information systems
• Minimum 5 years in Business System Analyst role specifically working with Yardi
• Certified Scrum Master is an asset
• Working technical knowledge of SQL languages
• Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems including application security.
• Perform cleanse map and transform data to support integrations initiatives
• Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software spreadsheets graphs and flow charts
• Extensive experience with core software applications with a strong focus on Yardi or other financial systems and/or property management expense procurement and HR applications
• Proven experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware software and standards as well as data retrieval methodologies
• Experience in supporting hosted software cloud solutions and Software as a Service (SAAS)
