Job Description
Overview
Fountain Tire Aldergrove an established automotive repair shop is looking for a responsible safe and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice (3rd or 4th year).

Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose repair and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work orders
- Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis TIA Rim Safety course and Customer Experience Standards
- Advise customers and customerfacing Associates on work performed general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
- Perform scheduled maintenance service such as oil changes lubrications and tune ups.
- The responsibilityto keep yourself and your coworkers safe
- Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
- Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
- Pride inthe work youve done keeping your customerssafe and on the road site or field!
Working conditions:
- A team environment where hard work concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
- Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required
- This work can unpredictable physical wet cold windy etc. and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
- This role requires nearly constant standing crouching or kneeling
Qualifications:
- Must be registered in an Automotive Apprenticeship program (3rd or 4th year)
- A valid drivers license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory drivers abstract
- Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
- A team player who takes pride in their work
