About the Role
THE POSITION
- Fulltime position with 42 weeks of work per year
- Plan supervise and monitor food production
- Prepare fresh nutritious meals for students at our college providing delicious and healthy dining experiences in a vibrant environment
- Ensure contract compliance is met through an understanding of the scope of work required
- Responsible for stock control budgets rostering mentoring & training both FOH and BOH staff
- Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
- Exceptional back of house control costing and percentage management is expected
THE PERSON
- Experienced Chef Manager with a Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery within a similar environment
- Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to lead and mentor teams both back and front of house
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
- Computer skills mandatory
- A passion for nutrition sustainability and locally sourced seasonal produce
- Uphold branding quality and safety standards at each site.
