The Machine Operator is responsible for the setup calibration and operation of machine equipment in a Manufacturing environment (retail customization). Works from verbal or written instructions diagrams or models. Inspects machining operations and finished products against specifications using precision measuring tools. Determines and corrects minor machine malfunctions. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning. May include packing wrapping securing labeling and shipping.
Essential Job Functions:- Operates embroidery machines and Direct to Garment machine.
- Operates small machines such as merrowing laminating and clicking.
- Performs routine maintenance such as light cleaning lubricating and replacing parts to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Inspects completed products and materials to assure quality standards are met.
- Adhered to all safety protocols including following safe work
- Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- 1 years of experience running small machinery in a Manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience performing routinemaintenance and/or simple repairs to small machinery in a Manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience using industrial sewing machines and DTG machines is strongly preferred.
- Close visual acuity to rethread sewing needles inspect productsmaterials and machinery for accuracy quality and defects.
- Finger dexterity to manipulate small objects and materials.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift a roll of fabric up to 50lbs up to 3 times a day
Hourly Pay Range: $17.00$18.00 (depending on experience)
