Job Description
Provides excellent oneonone patient care for all aspects of respiratory home care.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
- Deliver and pickup oxygen cylinders equipment and supplies to and from patients
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete the charges are correct and the patient is satisfied
- Load and unload items from vehicles
- Record and track oxygen cylinder lot numbers
- Clean and provide maintenance on DME and respiratory equipment
- Assist with routine oxygen concentrator checks
- Provide excellent customer service answer questions and handle patient questions and issues
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid and insurable drivers license
- Ability to lift equipment of 50 lbs (oxygen concentrators) frequently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Respiratory Technician experience
