What Youll Be Doing
Oversee daily operations of the quarry pit to ensure safety and efficiency.
Coordinate with teams to manage extraction and processing activities.
Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Prepare reports and maintain records of production and operations.
What Are We Looking For
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining quarry equipment.
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Essential Experience and Skills
Minimum of 5 years in aggregate production or at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a related industry.
Strong leadership abilities with clear concise and respectful communication skills.
Ability to maintain composure and professionally present information responding effectively to questions.
Motivation and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with fluctuating shift schedules extensive movement across the plant and occasional lifting of heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
Work Environment
Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Physical demands including lifting standing and walking.
Collaborative and dynamic team setting.
Physical Demands of the Job
Regularly required to stand walk and use hands to handle or feel.
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
