A Place for compassion: Auburn House is an aged care provider and specialist persons mental health unit with 30 private rooms in a newly refurbished home like environment. We care for residents with diverse mental health behavioural and psychological needs. Our care model is centred around the person ensuring their ability to make choices in every aspect of their lives is supported. We strive for care that is provided in consultation with each person eliminating institutional elements to the greatest extent possible.
We are a vital part of St Vincents Hospital Melbourne Residential Palliative Care & Correctional Health Services a key clinical service program of SVHM and broader SVHA Public Hospital division. Auburn House operates with a qualified nursing workforce of Enrolled and Registered nurses with agreed workforce ratios and staffing levels that exceed industry standard.
About the Role
Make a difference: Join us in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment for the residents of Auburn House. As a Housekeeper youll play an essential role in upholding our commitment to cleanliness and safety. Your duties will encompass ensuring the cleanliness of living spaces managing laundry services and assisting with meal preparation and servingall vital components in providing a comfortable and nurturing environment for our residents. Join our friendly and dynamic team in this challenging yet rewarding position.
Your Contribution:
The classification for this position will be GV90 ($51350 per annum pro rata) plus additional allowances if applicable.
