About Us
Heidelberg Materials is one of the worlds largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9000 employees.
The Area Operations Manager RMC will be based in Vancouver WA and oversee all RMC operations in the Portland Oregon Metro area.
What Youll Be Doing
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.
- Manage budgets forecasts and financial performance.
- Lead and develop a highperforming team.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain relationships with the community and with our customers including regular communication and job site visits as appropriate.
What Are We Looking For
- Bachelors degree in engineering business or logistics or equivalent education and experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years RMC experience and 3 years at a managerial level
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competency in managing a P&L & creating budget & forecasts.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
