A bit about the role:
Our Residential Support Workers create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop. You will ensure their wellbeing is prioritised by delivering personalised care guidance and advocacy. It is key that they stay safe and healthyand can reach their full potential.
In return we offer an indepth induction and amazing opportunities for career progression. Well enrol you on necessary industry qualifications along with regular supervision and team meetings to ensure you feel part of our team.
Once you have gained the relevant experience and qualifications you will be ready to progress tothe next step in your career with us.
About the service
Summerfields is a sixbed residential home for Children and young people aged between 5 and 18 years old with complex additional needs. The home offers a place of laughter fun and new experiences where the young person can thrive learn and develop helping them to achieve a positive future.
This is an exciting challenging and rewarding role with the opportunity to make a huge personal impact.
The successful applicant will have a real opportunity to work as part of a team who will improve the outcomes of children and young people by providing safe stable and loving homes for them to live and thrive in.
We will actively support you in your role and provide you with regular supervision / APR process and specialist training including a commitment to achieve Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification from our newly developed Professional Development Centre
