At Securitas onsite Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments help safeguard people property and information.

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Greet customers and client employees.
• Ask valued customers for receipts.
• Conduct internal foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions hazards security violations blocked ingress and egress mechanical problems unauthorized persons inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
• Monitor entrance / exits and customers provide guidance as needed and assist Asset Protection with information gathering.
• Complete daily activity incident reports and logs via client system.
• Provide an atmosphere in which all customers client employees and management know their needs are being met.
• Present a good image to the client client employees and customers.
• Operate in a calm manner and direct persons who cause disruption to leave property.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents emergencies or security investigations; set up barriers and signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives company management or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
• Act to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
• Must have Day / Swing shift availability.
• Must be reliable accountable punctual and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and deescalation skills a plus.
• Must be able to interact with and greet customers in a positive manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports and logs via handheld devices and computers camera monitoring and reporting alarms.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers vendors drivers general public coworkers Asset Protection and Office Management.
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client employees and Office Management.
• Must be able to stand for majority of shift take 15minute breaks and adhere to lunch period.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation and force if required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Mut be able to work in a fastpaced environment remain organized and professional and check customer receipts.
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
• Must provide high quality customer service inperson over the phone and via radio.
• Must have a personal vehicle Colorado Drivers License and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain Pueblo Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
• Must be able to attend inperson interview and inperson orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
• Security military or law enforcement experience a plus.
