AT&Ts Wireline Transformation and Supply Chain (WTSC) Strategy Team focuses on collaborative problemsolving strategic analysis and analytical support to directly impact billions of dollars of AT&Ts cost structure and future investments while driving bestinclass practices across AT&Ts vast supply chain and wireline networks.

Our Associate Director Wireline Transformation & Supply Chain Strategy leads small teams across a wide array of projects to craft actionable innovative recommendations for AT&Ts senior leadership. Youll drive multiple projects to analyze the impact of industry trends emerging technologies macroeconomic & competitive factors and thirdparty supplier spend & engagement.

Youll lead teams to drive:

• Thought leadership and strategic analysis on fastpaced complex opportunities and challenges facing AT&Ts Wireline Transformation and Supply Chain organization
• Factbased negotiation support including industry analytics competitive event strategy and should cost negotiation benchmarking
• Bestinclass market intelligence efforts including M&A monitoring supplier financial health assessments and supply chain visibility to best position AT&T for success
• Creative strategic solutions to drive meaningful transformation for AT&Ts operations and cost structure

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with management consulting analytics strategy leadership or other related experience
• Bachelors degree in Business Finance Applied Mathematics Economics Engineering Computer Science or a Supply Chain related field
• Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills:
  • Problem Solving: Aptitude to quickly understand and apply economic/business principles recognize subtleties of complex problems and develop innovative solutions driven or supported by data
  • Modeling: Ability to work with multiple sources of (often financerelated) data integrating factbases and assumptions to develop complex financial and operational models
  • Technical: Advanced experience working with Microsoft Excel (VBA preferred; ability with pivot tables arrays and nestedformulas strongly desired) and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Project Management experience:
  • Effective communication skills
  • Comfortable and effective working in teams and across functional groups that vary from fundamentally technical to nontechnical
• Ability to provide structured thinking to deconstruct complex problems and help advance strategic initiatives with datadriven solutions
• Demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against tight deadlines
• Superior negotiation and persuasion skills
• Previous experience managing teams of crossfunctional highaptitude professionals

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in management consulting investment banking corporate strategy or another highly strategic/analytical role; ideally with exposure to the telecommunications or technology industries
• Exposure to software mechanical and electrical engineering concepts
• MBA preferred
• Strong understanding of applied statistics
• Practical experience building financial statistical and other analytical models to evaluate complex data
• Experience reverse engineering hardware or firmware; software sizing or code estimation
• Experience managing relationships and interacting with various vendors active in the telecommunications space

Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
