Job Description
Overview
The Network Engineer Intern role supports the local area network infrastructure across multiple facilities at various sites. Intern may participate in consulting services project management network performance and capacity configuration management security automated monitoring/alerting disaster recovery and deployment of established enterprise standards. Will support the development of operational support documentation for the Network hardware and software to be supported monitored and administered by the Operations department.
Hours: 20 hours/week (between MondayFriday 8am5pm)
Location: Onsite Hiawatha Iowa

Responsibilities
Network Support
- Support the troubleshooting of network equipment or connection issues (Routers Layer 2 and 3 switches Wireless Network Access Points & Controllers UPSs firewalls etc)
- Support the planning coordinating and implementing of network equipment
- Support operating system upgrades for various network equipment
Qualifications
Currently pursuing Associate or Bachelors degree in Network Administration Computer Science or related field.
