Job Description
Engineering Support Technician
Location: Onsite
Salary Range: $55000 $70000
We are seeking a detailoriented and handson technician to join our engineering team and support the development and production of precision 3D tracking hardware. This role involves assisting with product testing prototype assembly and component verification ensuring that parts meet demanding specifications. The ideal candidate is proactive technically skilled and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with evolving processes.
Key Responsibilities

Assist engineering teams with pilot builds product testing and postprocessing tasks (e.g. cleaning and sanding).

Oversee daytoday lab operations including inventory management organization and cleanliness.

Operate and maintain prototyping equipment including 3D printers and CMM tools.

Perform preventive maintenance on lab equipment.

Conduct part inspections and measurements using engineering drawings and specifications.

Operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and assist with part verification procedures.

Contribute to machining and equipment maintenance (machining experience is a plus).

Manage small projects independently and prioritize multiple ongoing tasks.

Follow established procedures while adapting to unstructured or evolving workflows.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Strong technical fluency and ability to learn new tools quickly.

Proven ability to work independently in dynamic environments.

High attention to detail and strong organizational and workspace cleanliness habits.

Prior experience in laboratory testing or prototyping settings.

Clear communication skills and effective task management.

Proficiency with 3D printing technologies.
