The Ophthalmologist Phaco Surgeon Consultant plays a crucial role in delivering specialized eye care to patients in Kolhapur Maharashtra. This expert is responsible for diagnosing and treating eye disorders primarily focusing on phacoemulsification surgery for cataracts. With the increasing demand for quality eye care in the region the consultant will contribute significantly to improving patients visual health and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations and assessments for patients.
- Diagnose various ocular disorders focusing on cataracts.
- Perform phacoemulsification surgeries with precision.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients.
- Use advanced ophthalmic technologies and surgical instruments.
- Educate patients about their eye conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Stay updated with the latest advances in ophthalmology and surgical techniques.

Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Specialization in Ophthalmology (MD/MS/DNB).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ophthalmology.
- Proven experience performing phacoemulsification surgeries.
- Fellowship or advanced training in cataract surgery is preferred.
- Valid medical license to practice in Maharashtra.
- Strong understanding of ocular diagnostics and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities.
