Responsibilities and Duties
Telwater is currently seeking skilled Spray Painters & Paint Preppers to join their Large Boats and Plate Boats paint departments. This handson role is responsible for ensuring every boat is finished to the highest possible standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing aluminium surfaces for painting
- Spray painting to high quality standards
- Identifying and correcting surface blemishes
- Paint correction and repair
- Colour matching and quality control
- Adhering to workplace health and safety policies
- Using hand and power tools competently
- Completing tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Monday to Thursday: 5:30am 2:30pm
- Friday: 5:30am 12:00pm
- Automotive or marine spray painting experience
- Proficiency in spray painting aluminium surfaces
- Ability to identify and correct surface defects
- Experience with colour matching
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confidence using various hand and power tools
- Full working rights in Australia
