Our client is a leading European manufacturer of chloralkali products and PVC. With production sites in five countries and more than 1275 dedicated employees they achieved an annual turnover of 1 billion euros in 2023. Although we are a young company we can build on decades of experience as part of large international chemical groups.
As a Maintenance Engineer Process Control System you are the linchpin in the management improvement and security of our Process Control System (hard & software). You ensure that production runs smoothly and that the system always performs optimally.
What are you going to do
Manage the Process Control System and ensure system availability and performance
Drawing up a maintenance budget planning and carrying out preventive maintenance on system hardware and software.
Analyzing and resolving system failures if necessary in collaboration with suppliers.
Implementing software releases and hardware changes including testing and documenting them.
Actively contribute to optimizations and investment projects within the plant. You pull smaller projects yourself.
Reporting monthly system reliability and integrity.
You always have an eye for an optimal pricequality ratio.
What are you bringing
You have an HBO working and thinking level preferably in a technical direction such as Electrical Engineering Industrial Automation or Chemical Technology.
You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a production environment preferably in the chemical industry.
Your knowledge of Honeywell control systems is a strong asset.
Your experience and maturity enable you to work independently and act as the sole point of contact for the process control system of the site in Beek.
You have strong analytical skills and work in a solutionoriented manner.

Completed associate degree or college education in a financial field (such as accountancy, business economics or finance). Several years of experience, preferably in accountancy or within the e-commerce sector. Excellent skills in Excel for efficient data analysis. Knowledge of Exact Globe (or Exact Online) is an advantage. Analytical skills and an eye for detail. Strong communication skills and a team player. Proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Education
Completed associate degree or college education in a financial field (such as accountancy, business economics or finance).
