Job Description
Our client is seeking a bilingual Process Engineer to support vertical plastic injection molding operations and global manufacturing teams. This role involves developing processes troubleshooting Mitsubishi PLCs and driving continuous improvement projects to optimize efficiency and quality. The position requires strong technical expertise fluency in Mandarin and English and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
Job Responsibilities -
- Create and improve molding processes for vertical injection presses to achieve consistent quality and output.
- Configure and resolve issues with Mitsubishi PLCs to maintain smooth operations.
- Take ownership of root cause analysis and lead efforts to implement long-term process improvements.
- Partner with U.S. and Asia-based colleagues to align projects and resolve production challenges.
- Assist in tooling validation new product implementation and start-up activities.
- Ensure all work aligns with ISO 9001 requirements and is backed by accurate documentation.
- Provide hands-on technical support and knowledge transfer to production staff.
- Track process performance and implement adjustments to meet operational goals.
Job Requirements -
- Engineering degree (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or similar field).
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English both written and spoken.
- 3-5 years hands-on experience in manufacturing or process engineering roles.
- Direct experience with plastic injection molding operations is preferred; vertical press knowledge is preferred.
- Proficiency in programming and maintaining Mitsubishi PLCs is required.
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and resolving production issues.
- Strong technical reading and interpretation skills for blueprints and specifications.
- Adaptability to fast-moving multicultural work environments with global collaboration.
