Job Description
Pay Rate: $39.35$49.20 per hour
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The incumbent will support and be a key contributor to the operation; ongoing support enhancement and improvement of new and existing software applications and packaged software based on business requirements involving the various systems utilized at Foster Farms to support the assigned areas. This includes design configuration testing documenting training delivery and support of software solutions relating to the master data and transactions associated with these processes and applications across all Foster Farms locations as well as provide basic support to users including moderate knowledge of the internally and externally developed software components.
- Will provide primary end user support for the SAP and other nonSAP systems. This includes:
Troubleshooting diagnosis and resolution of end user problems.
Performing routine system maintenance checks and corrective actions such as maintaining adjusting and manipulating interfaces to SAP where applicable.
- Contribute to ongoing system improvement efforts to include:
Collecting requirements from business users researching available solutions developing and documenting conceptual design alternatives.
Communicate with and educate business users conduct unit testing and coordinate integration and user acceptance testing.
Work with security team to ensure appropriate system authorization migrating to production.
Prepare comprehensive and thorough design and training documentation train subject matter experts and provide postimplementation support efforts.
Will interact regularly with end users engaging in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production issues and provide continuous improvements to all aspects of design and processes.
- Additional duties as assigned by the IT project lead/manager/director.

Qualifications :
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Management Information System / Computer Information Systems or related field
- Must be capable of working to a structured work plan with aggressive milestones and have strong problemsolving skills sound judgment critical thinking and decisionmaking ability
- Must be highly goal and results oriented
- Must be highly selfmotivated and driven must be capable and willing to learn complex systems with minimal supervision
- Experience with developing business requirements
- Experience learning and documenting complex business processes
- Project experience is beneficial
- Must be able to communicate effectively with varying levels of management and team members both written and verbal
- This position will require possession or development of specific skills knowledge and experience with SAP and NonSAP systems.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Meets minimum requirements and the following:
Masters Degree
One to three years experience in SAP and NonSAP systems. Familiarity with business process reengineering six sigma lean manufacturing etc. is strongly desired.
Experience learning and documenting complex business processes.
Basic understanding of the SAP systems roles and interfaces preferred.
Project experience.
Understanding of how to interview end users for insight on functionality problems or usability issues and needs.
Understanding of relational database (e.g. SQL Server and/or Oracle).
Understanding of software development lifecycle phases and activities and project management principles.
One to two years of IT experience working in a manufacturing organization for a $1 billion organization.
Exposure to Business Systems in SAP/ERP environment.
Exposure to and familiarity with consumer products industry strongly preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively with varying levels of management and team members both written and verbal.
Ability to move up within the organization.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have / be able to obtain CA drivers license
- Must be able to travel overnight occasionally
- Must be able to have consistent attendance in assigned office
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to drive to various company and vendor locations
- Must be able to work on the computer for long periods of time
- Must be able to deal with periodic high stress situations
- Must be able to stay calm and focused when dealing with difficult personnel issues.
ADDITIONAL PERTINENT FACTS:
- The candidate will be a member of the Business Systems Team. This employee will be required to further develop sufficient SAP skills in other functional areas to support maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- As the Business Systems Team provides 24X7X365 support for the business this Team Member will join the support rotation and will be assigned evening and weekend support shifts.
