Role Overview:
As the Events Specialist you will be responsible for planning executing and optimizing both inperson and virtual events aimed at building brand awareness generating leads and fostering client engagement. Youll work crossfunctionally with marketing sales and product teams to develop event strategies and experiences that align with our business goals.
Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution
- Manage inperson and virtual events including trade shows conferences virtual roundtables and client user conference events.
- Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection scheduling budget management and vendor relations.
- Coordinate the preshow and postshow promotion with the sales team to generate appointments preevent and to track the new sales opportunities from each event.
- Ensure events are executed on time within budget and aligned with the companys brand and messaging.
- Contribute to the planning process by researching event options and sourcing details that are input into the event plans.
Event Marketing & Promotion
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event promotion strategies including email campaigns social media content and partnerships.
- Develop eventspecific materials such as presentations digital assets signage and swag ensuring all materials align with brand standards.
- Actively participate at the tradeshow booth when traveling to shows.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors including AV teams caterers and technology providers.
- Work closely with sales marketing and customer success teams to align event goals with broader business objectives.
Data & Reporting
- Measure and analyze event performance including attendance engagement and ROI.
- Gather feedback and insights to refine event strategies and improve future events.
Budget Management
- Manage event budgets and expenses to ensure all events are delivered within approved budgets.
- Track eventrelated expenses and prepare reports for management review.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or related field.
- 12 years of experience in event management or comparable complex projects
- Willing and able to travel to support tradeshows.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing virtual and inperson events or managing complex details and projects.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple events and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Work inperson out of our Mexico office (with ability to earn 1 day a week virtual after ramping).
