Job Title/High Level Position Summary:

As an HR Business Partner you will serve as a key liaison between employees and management providing support and guidance on a wide range of HRrelated matters. This position combines the responsibilities of a traditional HR Generalist with a focus on employee relations ensuring a positive work environment and effective resolution of workplace issues.

This is an onsite position that will require the candidate to be in the office 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment process by partnering with Talent Acquisition and Management in posting job openings conducting interviews and assisting with onboarding activities.
  • Performance Management: Support performance management processes including goal setting performance evaluations and coaching discussions.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training initiatives assess training needs and facilitate employee development programs.
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Assist in implementation of HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • HR Reporting: Prepare HR metrics and reports to track key performance indicators and support decisionmaking processes.
  • Employee Relations Management: Manage employee relations matters including grievances complaints conflicts and conduct thorough investigations as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on business partnering.
  • Strong understanding of California HR practices labor laws and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and the use of HR metrics to drive decisions.
  • Ability to work onsite Tuesday Thursday.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or HR certification (e.g. SHRMCP PHR)
  • Previous experience with M&A
