Job Description
THE POSITION

The Department of Human Services Bureau of Administrative Services is currently seeking a Facility Guardian Officer to join their team. We are searching for a motivated individual who supports the Wernersville State Hospitals mission of providing the highest quality of care and services to our residents. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Facility Guardian Officer you will be responsible for performing highly complex duties as a courtappointed guardian or representative payee for all clients of the facility where there is no outside appointee or for those who have authorized the appointment. You will also assess the financial status of residents and approve disbursement of funds according to state fiduciary regulations department policy legislation regulations governing benefits and in accordance with individual needs of residents. You will perform these duties for the individuals who reside at the Wernersville State Hospital but may also provide coverage at other Department of Human Services facilities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime after successful completion of a probationary period. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Wernersville.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of bookkeeping experience and one year of experience in financial planning or management of individual accounts; or
- Two years of bookkeeping experience and one year of experience in financial planning or management of individual accounts and an associates degree in business administration or accounting; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes one year of financial planning or management of individual accounts.
