Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk Virginia is seeking an Senior Echocardiographer to join the Noninvasive Lab Team!
Shift: FullTime 8 hour shifts from 7:00am to 3: Required.
Position Overview:
Unit has 5 rooms for Echos. Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram and Doppler ultrasound. Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac NonInvasive Lab EP and Cath Lab OR ICU and willalso work with patients at the bedside.
Required Education:
- Bachelors Level Degree Associates Level Degree CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma.
- Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes
License and Certifications:
- Basic Life SupportRequired
- Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.
Other:
- At least 3 years of echocardiographer experience
