Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Finance Business Partner working with the Project Managers and team members to ensure accurate capture of actual costs each month. Assisting with regular reporting and analysis against metrics such as utilization open commitments labor and more.
• Provide financial support for bids and proposals reviewing cost estimates preparing pricing and ensuring that all the appropriate financial risks and opportunities are addressed.
• Support monthly close through timely analysis and maintenance of systems processes related to projects and costs.
• Conduct variance analysis where appropriate against the original bid current forecast and budget. Assessing the impact of any risks and opportunities on the overall business performance.
• Assist in the development of new Excelbased reporting/analysis tools.

Required Skills:

• This position requires either a US Person or a nonUS Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in finance Accounting or related field
• Microsoft Office Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Financial Planning & Analysis and/or Program Finance
• Knowledge of ERP systems (such as Deltek Costpoint) is a plus

Expected Compensation: The expected compensation for this role is $20.00 hourly. Please note this is the expected compensation however Ultra Maritime considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office such as: responsibilities and scope of role candidates work experience and education related to position applicable certifications or trainings business and market conditions.
